Our Rebranding: A Letter From Faithful Families

Hello from Faithful Families!

We are excited to share the official  launch of our Faithful Families rebrand.

To better reflect the program’s mission and vision, we have rebranded from Faithful Families Eating Smart and Moving More to Faithful Families Thriving Communities. With this new name comes a new logo, website, and updates to our social media accounts.

Why are we rebranding?

Since its introduction ten years ago, Faithful Families has grown in North Carolina and nationally, due, in large part, to the support of our wonderful network of state and national partners, program facilitators, faith leaders, lay leaders, and faith communities.

While the program’s focus began with the promotion of healthy eating and physical activity, Faithful Families has adapted over the years to meet the diverse needs of our faith communities and partners, which extend beyond eating smart and moving more.  Our mission has grown to inspire faith communities across the country to be health champions for individuals, families, and communities.

What does this mean moving forward?

Moving forward, we will no longer use Faithful Families Eating Smart and Moving More or its corresponding logo.  Instead, all new program materials and communications will use Faithful Families Thriving Communities and our new brand logo.

We encourage you to visit our new website www.faithfulfamilies.com to see all the updates and learn more about our growing network of National Implementing Partners as well as our North Carolina programming.  The website is also where you will find and tools to support your work in faith communities.

How can you help us in this transition?

Since our website has moved to a new domain, we encourage you to update your bookmarks and Faithful Families related links and information on your respective websites and social media channels.

If you would like to brand new materials with Faithful Families or promote the program in your communities, please use the rebranded name and logo.  There will a transition period as we update our existing online and printed materials with the new brand, and we thank you for your patience as we do so!

The next ten years…

Looking ahead at the next ten years, we hope that the program continues to adapt and grow – in both reach and scope – to address the diverse needs of faith-based organizations in your communities. And as we move towards a National Implementing Partners model, we are really excited to continue building a network of organizations and faith communities that are working together to connect faith and health.

We thank you for all your support over the years!
