2019 Faithful Families North Carolina Training

Faithful Families will be holding its annual training for North Carolina health educators who are planning to implement the program in their communities. This training is intended only for staff from local health departments and Cooperative Extension (SNAP-Ed, FCS, EFNEP), including facilitators who have attended a Faithful Families training in the past.
During this training, facilitators will:
- Explore program’s long-term approach and timeline, strategies for supporting policy and environmental changes, and implementation of evaluation tools.
- Discuss shared challenges and best practices for engaging faith communities.
- Receive training on new program components and evaluation tools.
- Work with facilitators fro, LHDs and Extension in their counties to develop an action plan for implementing Faithful Families in their community.
North Carolina program facilitators who have plans to implement Faithful Families in 2020 should attend this training.
Training is FREE for all North Carolina facilitators.
